The five-day seminar entitled “Classroom Training and Business Development Workshop” was successfully organized from 19th to 23rd of June 2017 in Thessaloniki, Greece under the framework of the Erasmus+ project “INNOGROW”.

The aim of the seminar was to strengthen the contemporary and transversal skills of young unemployed individuals, higher education students and key SME staff on emerging topics falling under “innovation” and “entrepreneurship”.

The seminar was successfully organized thanks to 16 learners that participated, coming from Greece, Spain, Romania, United Kingdom and Turkey and to the highly experienced speakers from KiNNO Consultants Ltd. (Greece), KIM Knowledge Innovation Market S.L. (Spain), The National Council of Small and Medium Sized Private Enterprises in Romania (Romania), MAKRO Management Development and Consulting Ltd (Turkey), Gaziantep Teknopark (Turkey) fulfilling the purpose of its implementation.

In this 5-day event, the first 3 days were devoted for trainings on the module contents, as 5 modules were taught in an intensive Agenda of 8 hours per day. The remaining 2 days were devoted to participatory discussions on the business models and making amendments on each to be more applicable as could be.

During the seminar training sessions on topics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship were presented: “Leadership, Motivation and Team Management”, “Innovation Management”, ”Creative Thinking”, “Problem Solving”, “Strategic Planning” while workgroup sessions made the training more interactive and pleasant. The seminar was also an occasion to encourage the participants to present their Business Model for innovative business ideas and receive feedback from experts.
