The final event of the project, Innovative Entrepreneurship Summit was hosted by Gaziantep Teknopark.

The closing conference was successfully organized on September 20, 2017 by the official partner of the project Gaziantep Teknopark. MAKRO is the leader of the project which is supported by The Turkish National Agency under Erasmus+ Program. The conference was titled as Innovative Entrepreneurship Summit because it carried a summit qualification by bringing together experts who play an important role in the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey.

Consultant and INNOGROW Project Manager Merve Gül Barut introduced the activities, outputs and success stories of the project, following the opening speeches made by Vice Chancellor of Gaziantep University Dr. Metin Bedir, Gaziantep Teknopark General Manager Deniz Vuruşkan and MAKRO Co-Founder Doğan İncesulu. Afterwards, business model presentations were made by innovative entrepreneurs who successfully improved themselves with the help of pilot trainings which were developed using the INNOGROW App, the main output of the project.

The program continued with speeches by experts who are actively involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey. In this section, firstly Viveka Accelerator Center Co-Founder Emin Okutan presented the main actors and associations in entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey and in the world. Then, Gaziantep KOSGEB expert introduced the entrepreneurial trends and entrepreneurial profile in Gaziantep. ODTÜ Business Department Lecturer and ODTÜ GİMER Manager Adil Oran presented a rapidly rising entrepreneurial concept in the world; Lean Enterprise Model. Finally, Founding Partner of Smart Cities Innovation Lab Can Uludağ presented the potential trends towards smart cities from the basic concepts of the new generation and innovative entrepreneurship.

Potential entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurs who are in the process of starting a business showed great interest in the conference organized with the participation of Gaziantep University students and the stakeholders in the region.
