We have a developed expertise in the fields of;
INNOGROW: Innovative Entrepreneurship for Increased Employability, New Business Creation and Economic Growth: MAKRO has coordinated the project, funded by Turkish National Agency. In this project, MAKRO developed; ‘Competency Profile of an Innovative Entrepreneur’ by relying on the large scale interviews conducted in Europe and Turkey with the participation of 150 entrepreneurs, Strategic Planning eLearning module in the innovative entrepreneurship curriculum which also includes leadership, motivation, team management, creative thinking, problem solving and innovation management topics, developed INNOGROW App as an innovative methodology in entrepreneurship trainings.
MIGRAPRENEURS: Entrepreneurial and Intrapreneurial Mindset Development for Highly Skilled Migrants in Europe: The project aims to better utilize the skills that highly skilled migrants bring into partner countries by fostering an entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial mind-set of migrants. MAKRO is a partner in the project and conducting research and training activities in Turkey. The training programme consists of the topics that will help migrants gain soft skills and business planning skills to become migrant entrepreneurs.
So-VET: Social entrepreneurship as an alternative for young unemployed: The main objective is to upgrade the vocational training system in order to provide effective courses in the subject of social entrepreneurship. MAKRO is a partner in the project and conducting research and training (incl. webinars) activities in Turkey, also developed the training contents on ‘Creating Business Model for Social Enterprises’. The training programme consists of 9 topics from introduction to social enterprise to finance and economics.
MAV: Multidimensional Training of Adult Volunteers to Foster Migrants’ Integration: The project is focused on volunteers who serve as “companions” or “mentors” for migrants (including refugees, third country national and non-native in general) in order to better guide them into the European labor market, help them to identify and improve their skills and competences, continue to build upon the training which they might have had in their countries of origin. MAKRO is a partner in the project and contribute to the development of Adult learning toolkit and curriculum on ‘Volunteers in Migrants’ Integration’ and pilot implementations in Turkey.
KUYAP: Increasing the Adaptability of Employers and Employees to the Changes in Global Economy. Overall objective of the project is to increase the adaptability of employees and employers by investing more in human capital for the sake of a more sustainable economic and growth and social development. Specific Objectives are to support SMEs directly by increasing knowledge and skills of employees and employers and strengthening their capacity, to support mainly chambers and other social partners and public institutions in providing services to SMEs for increasing adaptability of employees, employers & enterprises and to enhance coordination and cooperation among relevant actors in providing services to SMEs for increasing adaptability of employees, employers and enterprises.
GATEK: Technical Assistance to Development of the Research & Technological Infrastructure of Gaziantep Technopark. Main objective is to contribute to the enhanced regional competitiveness by supporting enterprises and improving business, R&D, Innovation, Technology and the ICT environment in Turkey, with focus on Gaziantep province. The purpose is threefold: first, to provide technical assistance to support the Research and Technological Development & Innovation Initiative & Strategies in Gaziantep Province and related NUTS II Region (TRC 1), second, to increase the competitiveness of SMEs hosted by the Gaziantep Technopark, and finally, to provide technical assistance support in terms of capacity building activities for MoSIT DG for Science &Technology.
HLS: Healthy Learning in SME aims to improve SME engagement with learning activities and make employees and employers more aware of the benefits of learning in the workplace thus support business competitiveness through improving employee skills and corporate behavior towards learning organization. To improve SME engagement with learning activities, the project adapted materials developed in a former EU project entitled Health Tutor in adult education to the needs of SMEs in the 6 EU partner countries. The Health Tutor material focused on creating a healthy learning environment in Adult Education institutions that was aligned with the needs of SMEs.
Organizational Learning Project aims to transfer the tools and methods for incorporating lifelong learning into employment practices, in order to expand the adaptability potentials of employees in SMEs. The project’s activities produced research-studies for the development of human resources and the mechanisms of lifelong learning in enterprises, supporting tools for enterprises who wish to evolve to learning organizations, guides for enterprises regarding the process of developing their educational policy and human resource development plans, educational databank which include material regarding lifelong learning, local learning networks and workshops.
NEXT: Next Generation in Charge. The main objective of the project is to contribute to an increase in SME`s sustainability by using of innovative technologies such as e-learning to train the target group, who are, SME owners who are planning to transfer their business and their second generation (successors and successee`s), or employees. SME Managers who will be in charge of the transition, University graduates, postgraduate students, who are planning to enter the management consulting and training market with special interest in business transfer, Management consultants and trainers who want do develop their scope of activities with business transfer, Business organizations and policy making government bodies who are in charge with awareness rising, with a European prospective, combining relative strength brought by each partner country organization.
The project “REACH the hard to reach: How to engage young learners in the workplace training via mobile assisted learning” aims at engaging and empowering young groups of learners – in particular young disadvantaged individuals – (aiming at) working in selected areas (e.g. tourism, health care or construction sector) and showing basic skill deficits or being in need of customer care and communication skills of relevance at work. This is achieved via new approaches based upon blended technologies, mobile technology at its core. Young learners are addressed via motivating multimedia contents dealing with customer care, intercultural and diversity skills or know-how about sustainability issues of relevance at work.
IIDICT: Accessible for Disabled people. To address the barriers that disabled people face and contribute to inclusion of children and adults with intellectual / developmental disabilities, IIDICT project aims to identify and develop relevant ICT solutions to overcome challenges they face. Towards this aim, specific objectives of the project are; exchanging practices and experiences with disabled vocational education online; identifying and analyzing best-practices and current solutions; understanding and mapping the specific needs of target groups and developing and pilot testing relevant ICT or e-learning solutions.
ECOLIVE: Organic olive oil is a high-quality product with high value compared to other types of olive oil and it is certified by the competent quality bodies in each Member State. In order to be able to produce and sell successfully organic olive oil, there is a need to support the training of production entities of organic olive oil, members of agricultural cooperatives and managers of companies working on the conversion of conventional oil production forms into production of olive oil through organic farming. The development of the capacity of these organizations in the production, certification and marketing of organic olive oil is the main aim of the ECOLIVE project.
BACK TO NATURE: Training of Trainers on Rural Tourism. The main objective of the project is to contribute to an increase in quality and variety of training on rural tourism and to upgrade knowledge and capacities of VET teachers, trainers and tutors with a European perspective, combining the relative strength brought by each partner country.
E-EMPORIO is a Leonardo da Vinci (LdV), Transfer of Innovation (ToI) project which is based on a former successfully implemented and completed project called text-e – “Training of Export Trainers via e Learning – an Innovative Approach”. E-EMPORIO is further developing the products of this project. It aims to contribute to the development of the export skills of staff working in SMEs, by providing them with complete, qualitative, results-oriented and practice-oriented e-learning contents, accessible through internet from any place, at any time.
EXPORT EXPERT is a Leonardo da Vinci (LdV), Transfer of Innovation (ToI) project which is based on a former successfully implemented and completed project “Text-e”. Export-Expert is further developing the products of Text-e which has been completed by a consortium under the leadership of MAKRO. The project aims to contribute to an increase in SMEs competitiveness in the international scene through use of innovative technologies such as e-learning to train SMEs staff in foreign trading with a European prospective, combining relative strength brought by each partner country organization.
TEXT-e – Training of Export Trainers is a LdV-ToI project which had been successfully completed between 2007 and 2009. The project has been elected as one of the 120 Best Projects on ADAM Database. The project aimed to contribute to an increase in SMEs competitiveness in the international scene through use of innovative technologies such as e-learning to train SMEs staff in foreign trading with a European prospective, combining relative strength brought by each partner country organization.
