The first partners meeting was organized on 23-24 November in Naples, Italy.
MAV aims to create awareness among the local communities in partner countries and develop an open source adult learning toolkit to support migrants’ integration.
In the first partner meeting, after a general introduction, partners discussed the main outcomes of the project, special objectives, intellectual outputs, multiplier events and project quality monitoring. Main themes of the meeting were intellectual outputs of the project which will guide migrants to integrate into the European labor market, help them to identify their skills and competences and continue to build upon the training they might have had before.
The project is going to be implemented in the seven project countries of Germany, Turkey, Italy, Romania, Greece, UK and Cyprus by expert entities which will carry out a demonstrative learning of volunteers to promote their engagement in becoming mentors and facilitators to other migrants. Guide for trainers, adult learning toolkit, adult learning course and communications toolkit will be developed during the two years of project timeline.
