2nd Multiplier Event of the MIGRAPRENEURS Project has been organized by MAKRO on 2nd March 2018.
MIGRAPRENEURS – “Entrepreneurial and Intrapreneurial Mindset Development for Highly Skilled Migrants in Europe” is an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships Project supported by EC and British National Agency. MAKRO, as an official partner of the project, organized the networking event in Ankara with the participation of experts from different institutions.
During the event, the project outputs are presented after a short brief about the project. First, the Guide for Highly Skilled Migrants which aims to provide help people to transcend lack of entrepreneurial skills and competences with relevant guidance has been explained. Than the training programme developed by the MIGRAPRENEURS Team has been presented and a deep discussion was held about how to recruit relevant participants on the programme and how to retain. The programme will also be available on the e-learning platform for free to help migrant entrepreneurs utilizing their skills. It offers a fully interactive programme based on consultancy and peer support, guided by an experienced facilitator and business experts. The participants will be able to receive guidance and support during this long-term programme.
The programme is for anyone who is a migrant with a degree or equivalent qualification but is currently working beneath their skill level or is unemployed, who wants to be an entrepreneur but is not sure if it’s for them and who has a business idea but doesn’t know how to get started.
