MIGRAPRENEURS – “Entrepreneurial and Intrapreneurial Mindset Development for Highly Skilled Migrants in Europe” is an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships Project which is designed for utilizing the skills that highly skilled migrants bring into partner countries by fostering an entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial mindset for migrants.
3rd Event of the Project has been organized by MAKRO in Ankara, in collaboration with METU Entrepreneurship Research Center (GIMER) on 4th October 2018.
The evet has started with the introduction of Migrapreneurs Project and Migrapreneurs Training Programme to the participants. Experiences from 1st pilot implementation of the training in May 2018 and the plans for the 2nd pilot programme in the upcoming months have been shared with the participants who are internationals in Ankara interested in entrepreneurial career. The aims, target groups and benefits of the training programme were also explained in detail by Merve Gül Barut from MAKRO. Then, Dr. Onur Unutulmaz from Social Sciences University of Ankara, Department of International Relations made a speech about Social and Cultural Integration of MIGRAPRENEURS in Turkey. He talked about the importance of integration while giving useful tips to the migrants for smoot adaptation in the host country. Later, the trainer of the 1st pilot implementation Berat Kjamili shared his Experiences as a Migrant Entrepreneur and MIGRAPRENEURS Trainer in Turkey. Finally, Assoc. Prof. Adil Oran from METU-GIMER & Department of Business Administration made an inspiring speech on Innovative Entrepreneurship.
